Do The Tour...Stay At Home - Rest Day
The Tour de France is taking its second rest day today, and so should you. The difference this time is that the rest day is sandwiched between two really difficult mountain stages. This could make tomorrow's race very interesting, as taking a day off in the middle of the mountains can be very disruptive to a rider's body.

As I said at the very beginning, I recommend you take at least one day of complete rest, and one day of active recovery per week. Rather than skip an actual workout, feel free to use this as your rest day.

The next audio workout in the Do The Tour… Stay At Home™ series is my favorite. Lance Armstrong joined me to record the workout for Stage 16, and it's a series of unpredictable intervals designed to be just the hard efforts in real races. Check it out and download it to your iPod today.
